Maximum Media Debuts Female Sports Show

Maximum Media, the company behind Joe.ie and Her.ie, has launched a new weekly online panel show focusing on female athletes.

Called PlayXPlay, the show is filmed live at Maximum Media’s Dublin city centre studios and published on YouTube. The project is being sponsored by AIG.

PlayXPlay is fronted by former Irish international rugby player Jenny Murphy, backed by Dublin GAA’s Niamh McEvoy. The weekly panel show with rotating guest contributors is the first in the Irish market to exclusively focus on leading sportswomen.

Gillian Fitzpatrick, chief operating officer at Maximum Media, said that PlayXPlay exists to deliver a high-quality sports show celebrating female athletes in Ireland.

“We know there is a huge appetite among our audiences for shows like PlayXPlay, and we’re looking forward to building on the huge successes of our existing sports shows, GAA Hour and House Of Rugby,” Fitzpatrick added.
