IT services company Zinopy is to double its Irish presence over the next two years, creating 50 more jobs in the process, following a year of 30% revenue growth and increased customer numbers.
A major reason for the growth, according to Sungard AS, was its supply of enterprise-grade colocation services to ensure the security and safety of Zinopy’s customers.
Zinopy has partnered with Sungard since 2012 and its inSIght Security Intelligence and inSIght Systems Intelligence products, which use Sungard AS’s data centre, offering customers enhanced security and performance.
Zinopy CEO John Ryan (pictured) commented: “Working with Sungard AS has been critical not only in underpinning our IT infrastructure, but also our growth strategy. Using the Sungard AS data centre enables us to keep our current and prospective customers fully assured that their most valuable information is in safe hands and helps them to achieve compliance with the latest data protections regulations in the EU and beyond. Having this confidence has allowed us to create a plan for growth that will see Zinopy double in size, creating over 50 jobs.”
Zinopy's service delivery manager, Pearse Tolan, added: “Maintaining constant availability and a high performance is a crucial part of our business model as Zinopy provides services to our customers day and night. Any outage, no matter how short-lived could have serious consequences for our business, and it is for this reason that our relationship with Sungard AS is so central to our continued success.”
Sungard AS general manager Carmel Owens commented: “Zinopy is yet another example of Ireland’s thriving technology industry. The success of these modern, digitally-focused organisations rests on their ability to remain available to customers, free from disruptions.
“By taking over the worries of infrastructure, Sungard AS allows these organisations to focus on their core differentiators and deliver the highest quality of services to their customers.”
